*** UNLISTED - UNIQUE - NEW R5 !
*** The Variations on this Reverse Side of this coin are, truly, for The Books !
1. Victory is "Partially Draped" - Lower Half of Body Only. Her Chest and Navel are Completely Exposed - NO Other Examples of this attribute can be found anywhere for RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B, 111C, 111D and 111E - See Research Link 1.
2. Victory's Partial Nudity is Incredible.....But, to top things off even more:
A. There is a "V" Letter, Shape or Insignia just above her Navel. We are NOT sure of the significance of this attribute !
B. There is a "Square" surrounding her Chest - Looks like a Harness of some type. We are NOT sure of the significance of this attribute !
3. Victory's Wings.....or.....The Mystery of the Missing Right Wing:
A. We believe that the Right Wing is assumingly "Behind" Victory and NOT protruding above her right shoulder like ALL other examples of RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B, 111C, 111D and 111E.
B. The Missing Right Wing has been replaced by a Crescent in front of her face - We assume it's the Crescent of the Moon - NO other examples of RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B, 111C, 111D and 111E possess this attribute !
4. Victory's Wreath in right hand - If it truly is a "wreath".....It's one hell of a "Wreath" - The Wreath is surrounded by 7 DOTS ! - NO Other Examples of this attribute can be found anywhere for RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B, 111C, 111D and 111E !
5. Two (2) Horizontal Downward-pointing Lines to the Right of Victory's Left Wing. We are NOT sure of the significance of this attribute !
*** Technically, RIC III Antoninus Pius 111D and 111E do NOT quality for proper comparison since they do NOT possess the ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III Obverse Legend. Only RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B and 111C (Research Link 2, 3 and 4, respectively) qualify for proper comparison.
*** In conclusion - this coin completely falls out of ALL Antoninus Pius / IMPERATOR II types - RIC III Antoninus Pius 111A, 111B, 111C, 111D and 111E !
*** The Incredible Variations on the Reverse side qualify this coin to be placed into it's own "UNIQUE (1 of a Kind)" Category or Sub-Type - ie: RIC Category !
* SPECTACULAR, INCREDIBLE DETAIL !
* Photo provided does not do this coin justice.....Superb HIGH Relief and Luster on Both sides of coin !
